Q: Is Studfold suitable for everyone?
A: Our Explore, Discover, Learn Trail has been design to appeal to families with pre-school and primary school aged children, however we actively encourage visitors of all ages to come and discover the outstanding natural beauty of Nidderdale. Please enquire about suitability for wheelchairs.

Q: What do we bring to put in the secret swap box or treasure box?

A: A small unwanted toy from home that another child would like to take home and would make them happy! No money and no sweets.

Q: Can I bring a pushchair?
A: Yes, Studfold's walks and trails are accessible to all-terrain buggies and back-carriers. Not suitable for small wheels that can not be pushed over grass or gravel or up steps.

Q: Can I bring a barbeque?
A: Unfortunately barbeques are not allowed, however you can bring a picnic and use the dedicated picnic area while enjoying the fabulous views.

Q: Do you cater for school and group visits?
A: Yes, we welcome visits from schools and groups. 25 groups can be offered a free entry each year! Call 01423 755084 to find out more.

Q: Do we need to book?
A: Not for a family visit. We just ask school parties and groups to book in advance.

Q: Do we have a cafe?

A: Yes.The cafe is opens for the Easter Holidays and every weekend until the end of the summer holidays. It also opens May day, Whit week, Summer holidays. Order your picnic at reception which can be brought to the play area in a wicker basket. Very 'famous 5'. The cafe closes in September. Check dates in opening times in admission
