Steeped in history, we are proud to make our land accessible to all.
Studfold and it's surrounding Nidderdale land has been the subject of a nature and archaelogy study project which has confirmed how rich it is in history and wildlife. Although the Explore, Discover, Learn Trail focuses mainly on nature, look out for evidence of an iron age settlement, lead mines, a marble quarry and over 400 years of farming history.
